Jerome Mol (aka Jeroen Mol)
Who is Jerome Mol? Like most people, it depends who you ask. Looking at his Linked In profile (http://www.linkedin.com/in/jeromehmol) you will see that it lists a dizzying array of companies that he has been involved with. It suggests that his career began in 1987 with Prolin and that today he is back working with this company and many more including GP Ventures, Evineage, GPXS Services and Bay Area Holding. He describes himself as “a serial entrepreneur” .. “who roll up their (sic) sleeves” which is an interesting description in light of the causes of the failure of GPXS Holding Ltd.
What is more curious though is his description of his time at GPX Holding from January 2005 to 2010. It reads:
“GPXS improves enterprise productivity with mobile IT management software, applications, training and support, especially focussed around the BlackBerry platform.
GPXS was established in December 2002. The company is privately owned, raised $10million from private investors and has two successful spinoffs todate, GPXS Services AG and Colibri Mobile BV”
Not that one would expect him to, but he doesn’t mention how the company folded. You can see the full story here http://thetruthaboutgpxs.com/demise-of-gpxs-holding/
It is interesting to note that many of the companies he was involved in ceased to trade or he ceased to be involved with them in the 2008-2010 period. As well as GPXS Holding he is also no longer involved with
Similar to his reference to GPXS Holding Ltd, his comments on his involvement with these firms says nothing abut how his time with them finished or what the standing of those companies is now.
However a check at Companies House in the UK does reveal an interesting pattern. Jerome is listed as having been a Director of six other UK companies in his time. These are:
So the situation that saw Jerome as a Director of GPXS not filing any Returns or accounts to Companies House as required under UK Companies’ Law has happened in more than just the case of GPXS Holding Ltd. I find this a concerning trend.
Do you know or did you work with Jerome Mol at these or any of his other companies? If so get in touch and tell us about it.
